The decline in female participation school sports is undesirable because of the fact that it considered to be for boys only. It light this, study was carried out examine socio-cultural determinants students’ Kogi State, Nigeria. population 3,290 students while 310 respondents were sampled this study. Three hypotheses postulated and tested using inferential statistics Chi-square analyze data. Questionnaire used collect data from respondents. findings show gender, cultural religious belief served as a significant determinant sports. Based on finding, concluded both male should encouraged develop right attitude towards schools so enhance gender equality There need sensitize general public through various agents socialization how change negative people
